“Entering In” to The Rugged Cross

I am sitting with Jesus, with communion before me, as I focus on The Cross. Immediately, a picture, which Holy Spirit has shown me before, comes into my mind of The Old Rugged Cross. The Cross is grotesque, with oozing boils and rusted protrusions; a horrific, frightening, and demonic looking sight. I see Jesus hanging on this grotesque Cross. I have a knowing that The Cross looks dark and demonic, because of all of the grotesque things, including my own sins, placed on it.

I hear, “All are invited to participate in My death on that Rugged Cross AND to participate in My Resurrection.”

I see myself joining Him on The Cross, where we "enter in" to what seems to be an entryway to a dark hole. We are entering in to the depths of darkness.

This is how we overcome the darkness! As we go with Jesus into the darkness, by dying with Him on The Cross, we overcome – as HE OVERCAME – ALL forms of sin and darkness.

In this vision, while being spared from seeing the specifics, I travel with Jesus through space and time, with demonic, horrific, forces of darkness viciously attacking Jesus from every angle; seeking to hold Him (us) there in that darkness.

There is a bitter battle raging all around us. Jesus is literally fighting for each and every soul that was ever created and ever will be created …one by one. In this vision, He is holding on tightly to me; protecting me totally and completely, while pulling me further into the depths of this darkness and battle …as I say, “Yes”.

Finally, it bottoms out. The darkness and depravity bottom out! Jesus has battled through it ALL, unscathed; and He has brought me through it with Him. I realize that we are now standing on Solid Ground, Solid Rock, and there is now Light around us that I had not seen until now. The Light steadily increases and seems to be filling this "bottom" space we are in and rising upward. As the Light fills the space and presses upward, the darkness and demonic forces are being forced out, displaced!

I hear the hymn, "Up from the grave He Arose, with a Mighty Triumph O'er His foes. He Arose a Victor from the dark domain and He Lives Forever, with His Saints to Reign. HALLELUJAH, CHRIST AROSE!"

As He continues to hold me, we rise with the rising Light. We continue to rise out of this previously dark pit, into THE LIGHT; until I ultimately hear, “He is Risen!”

LIGHT HAS CONQUERED AND OVERCOME THE DARKNESS!

JESUS HAS RISEN VICTORIOUS OVER ALL DARKNESS!

RESURRECTION POWER HAS COMPLETELY DEFEATED THE POWERS OF SIN AND DARKNESS; SATAN IS DEFEATED!
