Position Matters!

In worship, God’s people were singing out in unison, “YOU are high and lifted up”. As I looked up toward heaven, declaring that HE is high and lifted up, I saw the brilliant, beautiful glory of God over us; with His magnificent LIGHT pouring down on His worshipers.

He then gave me a profound object lesson:

Like watching a movie, I could see myself standing under His glory and light, but I was slightly off-centered. I was leaning slightly to one side, with more of my weight on my left foot than my right. I knew immediately that He was pointing out that in the midst of a tough situation, I had allowed my focus be drawn to the negative that the enemy was throwing up in front of me.

While in this off-centered position, He showed me that I was still receiving the outer rays of The Light shining down from His exalted position; however, I was no longer positioned to receive and bask in the intense, concentrated glory that can only come from choosing to stand squarely – directly and firmly – under Him.

I confessed to Him all of my doubts, fears, and negative agreements with what the enemy was hurling at me. I then chose and declared that I was completely surrendered and positioned directly under His absolute Lordship. I renewed my full alignment and trust in Him alone, telling Him that He had total reign over my life and calling. I declared once again my complete faith in Him over EVERYTHING. He then led me to speak out loud, to declare, “There is no unbelief in me!”

At that, all unbelief, discouragement, fear, and doubt vanished; it simply lifted off of me. I saw and I felt a shift, in which I was once again directly under His brilliant LIGHT with all of its intensity. He emphasized that as I stood in this holy Light-filled position, the enemy and his works of evil were directly under my feet[1]. He poured into me once again that in Him, I rule and reign over the works of the enemy on this earth[2].

This is a picture of God’s Ordained Positions:

• The Lord God Almighty is high and lifted up; exalted above EVERYTHING!

• His sons and daughters are directly under The King: submitted, surrendered, obedient, and full of faith in His power and goodness.

• From that position, His Ecclesia carries the authority and power to crush satan’s head under our feet.
