“With One Accord” Produces Heaven’s Sound
While reading in the Book of Acts, Holy Spirit kept highlighting the phrase “with one accord”[1].
Acts 2:1-4 The Sound of Heaven follows those who are, “with one accord”, together in Him:
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
When reading the 10 passages in Acts[2] (included below) where the phrase “with one accord” appears, it is apparent that great and mighty works of God occur when His Holy Bride joins together “with one accord”:
true worship of Him, hearing His voice, receiving His direction, hearing and seeing miracles and signs and wonders, experiencing His outpouring and presence, seeing Him bring the lost into His Kingdom. As His Bride stands together “with one accord”, His Kingdom comes, His will is done on earth, just as it is in heaven.
It is also noted in Acts that when there are alignments with the enemy “with one accord”, this incites rage and destruction in an attempt to thwart God’s plans and purposes on the earth. We are seeing this version of “with one accord” operating throughout the earth in these times.
The Church must lay hold of the imperative need and holy requirement of our Great God to come together “with one accord” – Homothumadon – in order that we may "rush along in unison".
There is a heavenly sound that occurs when His Holy Ones are operating as one; pressing forward together as “violent men laying hold of the Kingdom…for His Glory”[3]. This holy, purified unison… birthed out of humility, surrender, love, and the fear of The Lord… produces heaven’s sound. This holy sound carries the perfect pitch, frequency, and tone of heaven, which will break through over the earth as a magnificent symphony; releasing the harmonious[4] instruments – the spiritual weapons, gifts, positioning, strategies – of The King’s Holy Army across the earth. This symphony of heaven’s sound through His Army operating “with one accord” will deliver His victorious, mighty, and perfect plans – His Glory – over All of the Earth!

[1] Strong’s:
Definition of “with one accord”, from the Greek word – Homothumadon:
· with one mind, with one passion
From a compound of the base of 2 words:
1. together: of persons assembled together
2. passion, angry, heat, glow, ardour; intensity of emotion, especially strong desire, enthusiasm, or devotion; warmth or heat of passion or affection; eagerness; zeal
“A unique Greek word, used 10 of its 12 New Testament occurrences in the Book of Acts, helps us understand the uniqueness of the Christian community. Homothumadon is a compound of two words meaning to "rush along" and "in unison". The image is almost musical; a number of notes are sounded which, while different, harmonise in pitch and tone. As the instruments of a great concert under the direction of a concert master, so the Holy Spirit blends together the lives of members of Christ's church.”
